DF 43: Assay Results for Selected Rock Samples from the Glennie–Wapassini Lakes Area
(Energy and Resources) R.O. Maxeiner, 2018. This data file contains analytical results for 16 rock samples collected from the Glennie and Wapassini lakes area of northern Saskatchewan between June 15 and August 15, 2017. The samples were analyzed for their gold content, along with a suite of 48 other elements. Four of the samples were also analyzed for platinum and palladium. One of the samples returned an anomalously high gold value, sufficiently high to classify the location where the sample was collected as a new mineral occurrence (as defined in the tables under 'Mineral Deposit Definitions', see below for link). The geology of the area where the samples were collected is described in Paper A-6 in Summary of Investigations 2017, Volume 2, and shown on the preliminary map that accompanies the Summary paper.

(Energy and Resources) M.A. Hanson, 2018. This data file contains analytical results from samples of glaciofluvial sediment that were collected between June 15 and August 16, 2017, as part of 1:100 000-scale surficial geological mapping of the Milton Island area of Reindeer Lake (NTS 64D/10 and surrounding area). The samples were analyzed for kimberlite indicator minerals (KIMs) and gold grains. The surficial geology of the area where the samples were collected is described in Paper A-10 in Summary of Investigations 2017, Volume 2, and shown on the preliminary maps that are associated with the Summary paper.
