Title: Post-Secondary Institutions Strategic Investment Fund (SIF): Amended and Re-Stated Contribution Agreement between Canada and Saskatchewan and Post-Secondary Institutions Amending Agreements (University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina and SIIT)

Minister: Minister of Advanced Education and Minister of Finance

Summary: Orders:

a) approval of the terms of an agreement between the Government of Saskatchewan and the Government of Canada to be known as the “Post-Secondary Institutions Strategic Investment Fund (SIF): Amended and Restated Contribution Agreement between Canada and Saskatchewan”, substantially in the form of the attached Schedule A;

b) that as a consequence of the above, approval of the terms of an amended agreement between the Government of Saskatchewan and each of the institutions listed below, for the purpose of carrying out the terms of the “Post-Secondary Institutions Strategic Investment Fund (SIF): Amended and Re-Stated Contribution Agreement:”

  • Schedule B – University of Saskatchewan
  • Schedule C – University of Regina
  • Schedule D – Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies
c) that the Minister of Advanced Education is authorized to execute these agreements on behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan.
