Title: The Liquor Consumption Tax Amendment Regulations, 2016

Summary: On October 9, 2016, these regulations will amend RRS L-19.1 Reg 2 to:

  • Repeal the definition of “special liquor vendor” and replace with “retail store” as all retail liquor outlets will now be referenced as retail stores.
  • Housekeeping amendments to include other classes of permits which should not be included as a licensee and therefore continue to be exempt from tax.
  • Updates to remove gender specific references.
