Title: The Drug Schedules Amendment Regulations, 2010

Minister: Minister of Health

Summary: On filing date, these regulations will amend RRS P9.1 Reg 2 to:

- provide the authority for pharmacists in Saskatchewan, subject to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (Canada) and the bylaws of the College of Pharmacists, to prescribe any drug listed in Schedule I, II or III that is intended for the purpose of treating humans; and

- provide the authority for pharmacists in Saskatchewan to dispense a prescription written by a pharmacist in another jurisdiction, where the jurisdiction has provided the authority for pharmacists to prescribe (e.g. Alberta and British Columbia).
