Pesticide Applicators Licence
Description:

No individual shall apply or use pesticides without holding a valid Pesticide Applicator Licence.

For exemptions see The Pest Control Products Regulations, 1995 below.

● An applicant must be 18 years of age or older.

● A Pesticide Applicator Licence is valid for a period of 12 months from it's date of issuance.

● A licence is issued to the person named on the application form and is not transferable.

● Applicants must pass a pesticide applicator examination to obtain a licence.

● An applicant for a licence renewal shall pass a recertification exam every five years or qualify for recertification by accumulating continuing credits (CEC).

● An fee is not required when making changes or adding additional categories onto an existing licence.

● There are 14 categories of Pesticide Applicator licenses. The type of pest control work and the area where pesticides will be applied determine what category of licence is required (see categories of licences on application form).

Effective November 2009, first time out-of-province applicators to Saskatchewan must write the Regulation exam. Details on the exam may also be found at the Out of Province link.

● The application form below is for NEW APPLICATORS ONLY. For renewals, please call (306)787-4662 to obtain a renewal form.

● The application form may be completed online, saved to your computer, printed and mailed to the Ministry of Agriculture at the address listed on the right or faxed to (306) 787-0428.

● Payment may be made online with a credit card (Mastercard or Visa) by using the link shown below. The application form or renewal will be matched with the payment once received. Alternatively, a cheque can be submitted with the application form and submitted to mailing address indicated on the form.
