Agricultural Corporations – minority shareholders may require exemptions if a corporation owns more than 320 acres
- a corporation primarily engaged in the business of farming
- majority of voting shares are owned by producers who are Canadian resident individuals, but has
minority shareholders who are not Canadian residents or citizens

The Saskatchewan Farm Security Act includes Farm Ownership provisions that have been in place since 1974. The objective of this legislation is to discourage foreign ownership and operation of our farm lands.
