Exception Drug Status (EDS) is coverage for drug products where regular benefit listing under the Drug Formulary may not be appropriate or possible.

  Saskatchewan Aids to Independent Living
Saskatchewan Aids to Independent Living (SAIL) provides assistance to people with physical disabilities to live a more active and independent lifestyle. It also helps people in the management of certain chronic health conditions.
  Saskatchewan Drug Formulary
The Saskatchewan Formulary lists the drugs, which are covered by the Drug Plan. A prescription is required for all drugs dispensed under the Drug Plan with the exception of insulin, blood-testing agents, urine-testing agents, syringes, needles, lancets and swabs used by diabetic patients.
  Supplementary Health Program
Qualified individuals are eligible for a number of health services and products in addition to the universal health benefits.
